Where did you grow up?
I grew up in Louisville, Kentucky.
Where did you go to school?
I graduated from Eastern High School and attended Murray State University.
What’s your favorite thing about working with dogs?
The one thing I love about working with dogs the most is getting to see how intelligent they are!
What’s your favorite part of your job?
My favorite part of my job is seeing our clients and their dogs light up as they walk in to play! I love seeing how excited they are to spend time with us!
How many years of experience do you have working with dogs (and how many of those are at Barkefellers)?
I grew up training two dogs and pursued a career in this field after I left college. I’ve spent almost two years in this field, with six months of that time spent at Barkefellers!
What are you most looking forward to this year?
This year, I am most excited about going on adventures with my dogs in the summer!
Do you have any pets of your own?
I have two dogs. Rusty is a husky pit mix, and Percy is a Corgi Shih Tzu mix!
What hobbies do you have outside of work?
I love to do anything art related. I spend much of my time outside of work painting, making music, and in nature!
What is the most exciting thing on your bucket list?
One of the most exciting things on my bucket list is someday competing in dog agility at the national level!
What do you listen to while in your car?
It depends on the day, but most of the time, I love to listen to Indie folk-style music!
