Where did you grow up?
Everywhere. We moved a lot.
Where did you go to school?
I dropped out of school my freshman year, but the last school I went to was Carmel High School.
What’s your favorite thing about working with dogs?
They all have their own personalities, and it’s interesting to get to know each individual dog.
What’s your favorite part of your job?
I love the people I work with and the customers. Of course, I also love spending time with the dogs I work with.
How many years of experience do you have working with dogs (and how many of those are at Barkefellers)?
I started working with dogs at a vet clinic when I was 17, 26 years ago. I’ve been with Barkefellers for 3 years in June.
What are you most looking forward to this year?
Growing my relationship with God and loving life.
Do you have any pets of your own?
I have 4 cats, Brutus, Buckeye, Zeke, and Woody. All are named after individuals from OSU. I also have a four-year-old chocolate lab mix named Abby.
What hobbies do you have outside of work?
I make and sell acrylic dip powder for nails. I also enjoy riding my bike, and knitting.
What is the most exciting thing on your bucket list?
Traveling around the world.
What do you listen to while in your car?
Mostly contemporary Christian music.
