Where did you grow up?
I’m originally from Fairfax, Virginia, but I also had the chance to live in Seattle, Washington, before moving to Indianapolis.
Where did you go to school?
I went to Meadowdale High School and am currently at Ivy Tech.
What’s your favorite thing about working with dogs?
I like forming special bonds with them. Every dog has their way of bonding with you and showing you love, which I think is very cute!
What’s your favorite part of your job?
My favorite part of my job is caring for our dogs and cats!
How many years of experience do you have working with dogs (and how many of those are at Barkefellers)?
This is my first job working with animals. I have been working at Barkefellers for 9 months, but I also had the opportunity to volunteer for 2 years at the ASPCA.
What are you looking forward to this year?
I really look forward to traveling more. There are a lot of things I want to see and experience from different cultures and traditions around the world.
Do you have any pets of your own?
Yes, I have 3 dogs and a cat! My dogs’ names are Laica, Dolly, and Jackie. And my cat’s name is Felipe.
What hobbies do you have outside of work?
I enjoy crafting and going camping during the summer.
What is the most exciting thing on your bucket list?
I would really love to start my very own animal sanctuary.
What do you listen to while in your car?
I love listening to Latin music and R&B.
