Where did you grow up?
I grew up in Grant County, Indiana.
Where did you go to school?
I graduated from Westfield High School and went to Ball State University.
What’s your favorite thing about working with dogs?
They are always there to support you when you have tough days! Some love to cuddle, some love to dance, and almost all love giving kisses!
What’s your favorite part of your job?
Building relationships with the customers so they know their dogs are cared for when they are away!
How many years of experience do you have working with dogs (and how many of those are at Barkefellers)?
I have grown up with animals in the family, but Barkefellers is my first job working with them, and I have been with the company for 10 months now!
What are you most looking forward to this year?
Continuing to build those relationships with the customers and staff!
Personally, I look forward to working on myself and ensuring I’m in a good place mentally and physically!
Do you have any pets of your own?
Of my own, no; in the family, yes! Also, lots of my friends have dogs as well!
I have wanted to get some, so maybe that will also be in the future!
What hobbies do you have outside of work?
I love to coach! I am a high school swim coach, and during the summer, I coach a couple of neighborhood swim teams! I played lacrosse growing up, so I’m also getting back into coaching that!
I also enjoy a good book, painting with diamonds, puzzles, games, sports, hiking, and traveling!
What is the most exciting thing on your bucket list?
To travel to all 50 states and all 7 continents.
What do you listen to while in your car?
It depends on the day/mood but usually country music; I also listen to Christian music and Crime Junkie podcast episodes!
